After nearly 14 years in our current home (and more than 20 years since this journey first began), Zen Box Izakaya will be closing permanently.

Our final day of service will be Saturday, Nov 22.

We started back in 2004 as a tiny counter in the downtown skyway - just two people, a small team, and a rice cooker. From those humble beginnings came something we could have only dreamed of: a home filled with ramen, laughter, and community.

Over the years, we’ve celebrated so much together. From Ramen Attack festivals that brought chefs and fans from across the country, to our Pay-What-You-Can meals during 2020 that helped feed our neighbors when times were hardest, every moment has meant the world to us.

The past few years have tested us deeply, but through every challenge, it’s been the people who’ve kept us going - our incredible team who’ve stood with us for over a decade, and you, our loyal guests and friends who made Zen Box what it is.

We will be serving our Saturday Lunch for the last time on Nov 1st, 2025.

After that, we’ll be open for dinner service only, Tuesday through Saturday, until our final day on Nov 22.

As we prepare for our final bow, we’d love to see you one more time. Come share a meal, a drink, or just a moment together before we say goodbye. 🥹❤️
